Live Display

View the live display from the device

The Live Display window mimics the LCD display on the device and includes some enhanced features:

• Shows values for the individual phases in a three-phase supply (if present) as well as total consumption.
• Temperature scale can be toggled between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• Set the unit price of your electricity to see the cost of your current usage in real time. Handles "split charge" tariff's such as Economy7.
• Currency can be displayed in pounds, euros or dollars.
• Set personal consumption target thresholds and see when these are exceeded with red/amber/green alerts.

Live Chart

View a live chart of the last hour's consumption

The Live Chart allows you to view the electricity consumption over the last hour for the "whole house" or any of the individual appliances.

• Display any combination of individual phases, total and temperature for the "whole house" appliance.
• Temperature scale can be toggled between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• Display live total for any of the individual appliances.
• Chart updates automatically once a minute.
• Chart can be printed and data can be exported to Excel for further analysis.

Historic Charts

View charts of historic data

The Historic Charts allow you to view the consumption history stored in the device for any of the individual appliances as well as the "whole house" appliance. The following charts are available:

• Bi-hourly totals for the last 24 hours.
• Hourly totals for the last month.
• Daily totals for the last year.
• Yearly totals for the last 7 years.
• Charts can be printed and data can be exported to Excel for further analysis.

Usage Analysis

Usage analysis of your electrical consumption

The Usage Analysis screen shows an analysis of your consumption since the device was first used:

• Average daily consumption.
• Highest ever day.
• Day of the week you use most electricity.

Cost Analysis

Analyse costs and impact of different tariffs based on your actual consumption

The Cost Analysis screen allows you to input different tariff charges and calculate costs based against your actual consumption for a specified billing period.

At last you can find out if it really is worth switching supplier based on your actual usage!

• User-defined billing period - pick the start date and end date, and calculate a bill based on your usage in that period.
• Supports both standard tariffs and "Economy7" type tariffs.
• Supports fixed discounts (eg. "direct debit" discount applied to total bill).

Alerts

Set up alerts to notify you of specific events

Energy Station allows you to set up an unlimited number of alerts which monitor the status of either the "whole house" appliance or any of the individual appliances and send an alert to one or more destinations when the alert condition is met.

• Create an alert based on different critera ("greater than", "less than", "equal to", "not equal to").
• Trigger the alert immediately the criteria is met or only once the criteria has been sustained for a period of time.

Alerts can be sent to the following destinations:

• Twitter.
• FTP.
• Email (coming soon).
• SMS (coming soon).
• Pachube (coming soon).
